Our client, a large company in the Hospitality Industry is looking to appoint a General Manager to join their team.  The purpose of this role is to lead teams in achieving the company’s operational objectives by managing the service standards, stock control in store, improving the financial performance of the store and to oversee most or all of the company’s marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business.


*A Tertiary qualification i.e. Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management or Hospitality * +-5-years’ experience in data management and a general IT interest *+-5 years field experience in a hospitality setting *5 years’ experience in project and personnel management *+- 5 years’ experience in financial management and administration procedures regarding budgeting, setting and reaching realistic targets and ensuring profitable account balances *Technical and professional skills/knowledge in creative projects and hospitality sector *A working knowledge of relevant Occupational Health & Safety Legislation *Database management skills *Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal *In possession of a valid code 08 drivers’ licence

It will be expected from the incumbent to act independently with full responsibility of anyone or a combination of departments within the Group through interaction by the Owners.

This position may require significant travelling within and/or venues and/or functions requiring quality control and/or compliance to standard support.
